SCM
Srl was founded in 1972 by Angelo and Eugenio Masoero brothers, who built and patented a
rapid change chuck for tapping, with an incorporated safety clutch, which was particularly suited to
the machine tools in use in that period.
Over the
years the company has broadened its production range and the tecnology has
developed according to the machine tools our products are used on.
At present S.C.M. offers five complete series of products:
Quick change tapping chucks with pre-set tap saving device for tapping and drilling on traditional machine tools;
Tapping chicks with and without axial compensation for CNC machining centres and adapters with and without clutch;
Traditional tool holders for CNC machine tools;
Tool holder WELER, patented, with high tool chucking capacity, balanced and with vibration damping system;
Tapping chicks and tool holders with HSK shank DIN 69893.
S.C.M., obtained ISO 9001:2000 Certification. It can count both on a strong and technologically advanced production power strenght and on an efficient marketing structure on all the most industrialised countries of the world.
